The Wizard of Oz

This summer, enjoy the new stage version of the unforgettable film The Wizard of Oz. With a click of your heels and a sprinkle
of Southbank Centre magic you'll be swept away on a bewitching adventure to the Land of Oz. Follow Dorothy and her friends
Toto, the Tin Man, the Scarecrow and the Cowardly Lion on their quest to find their heart's desire and a way back home.
The musical takes places every night, except Mondays, in Royal Festival Hall from 23 July-31 August, with matinees on Wednesdays
and Saturdays.
Running alongside the show are two, free weekly events. Step into the wilder side of cabaret with our
special Dorothy Nights, where each show celebrates the kitsch, iconic brilliance of The Wizard of Oz through music, song,
comedy and performance. There's also a special vocal series - Somewhere Over The Rainbow - where different guest singers
perform a mix of music, ranging from pop, soul and jazz, whilst tipping a hat to the music of The Wizard of Oz.
